Learn more about me

Hello.

My Name is David Beu. I am a professional Intercultural Trainer and Certified Systemic Coach.

Owing to my own binational background, I have been interested in intercultural communication from a young age. As the son of a Somalian father and a German mother, I grew up with diversity and hugely differing cultural privileges and challenges that now substantiate my work in a very personal way.

My curiosity led me to train in this direction and, after graduating from high school in 2001, to study adult education with a focus on intercultural learning and systemic counseling.

On finishing my studies, I completed a qualification to become an intercultural coach and collected a wealth of practical experience directly in the “supreme discipline”, that is to say, at the source of intercultural misunderstanding: the social sector. I first dealt with the issue of immigration, after which I looked at the significance and implementation of successful integration and then personality and career development for young adults. My work in the social sector has had a lasting impact on my humanistic conception of man, my empathy and my understanding of successful communication.

It is particularly important for me to consider a person as a whole and to take him or her seriously, since that is the key to his or her personal success and, in turn, to the success of the entire team.

I now bring my substantial experience to bear on my training sessions for organisations and companies emanating from vastly different sectors that are preoccupied with problems resulting from diversification or digitalisation. My interest in the digital and in the human overlap here and comprise the interface of my competencies.

My clients profit from a diverse methodology, a great store of personal and intercultural experience as well as my empathetic, individualised but nonetheless empirical approach.

I look forward to being able to help you with your concerns.
